Since the E3 is over and we had an extra week of new information, it’s time to share my personal top 10 list of the games that were shown at the the E3 of 2015.
The games in this list are the games that are the most promising or just plain awesome according to my taste. With that I already said it, this is my list. So this is my opinion, it would be fun if you agree with it, but it would be even better if you share your personal top 10 E3 2015 games with me. Let’s not wait any longer and let us begin with the list.
10. Super Mario Maker
This game let’s you make your own Super Mario levels and let’s you share your levels with everybody over the entire world. Good to know that you can only share levels that you must have completed once yourself. This way you (and everybody else) will not be able to upload broken or incomplete levels. I’ve already seen some epic levels, since the game comes with 100 preinstalled levels, and it can all get even crazier.
The game will also support several Amiibo. Amiibo like the Link Amiibo, Samus Amiibo and Pit Amiibo let’s you play as an 8 bit version of that amiibo. Besides those a new Amiibo was announced at the E3. The 8 Bit Mario Amiibo, a special 30th anniversary Mario, makes you grow like a giant. The 8 Bit Mario Amiibo comes in two different editions:
Only downside is that they are planning to make it a full ranged priced game and that is a little bit too high in my opinion.

Release date: September 2015
9: The Last Guardian
What do I need to say about this game? It looks plain awesome and the trailer had going crazy. Finally (!) the game has showed itself and it’s coming! Just look at the trailer and be amazed.
Trailer The Last Guardian:
The game won’t be coming to the PS3 anymore but will make full use of the technical capacities of the PS4.
Release date: 2016
8: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Although the game was already announced in April, at the E3 we finally saw a first glimpse at the gameplay of the new Deus Ex game. The game looks sick and promises to contain another brilliant story with even more options to choose and roads to follow.
Trailer Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Release date: 2016
7: No Man’s Sky
A huge massive open world game where exploration is the center of the game and it’s mechanics. Finally we saw some gameplay of the game. I just can’t wait to get my hands on it. Why? Because I think it’s one of the coolest concepts to have a endless galaxy that you can also explore endlessly. And even though one of the downfalls could be that the game turns out to be less challenging or divers than the developers claim, I still have good trust in them. Although in recent events this is never a guarantee.. *couch* Batman PC *couch*
Trailer No Man’s Sky:
Release date: (my guess) 2016
6: Star Fox Zero
“Do a barrel roll!” that got me already! Even thought some who have already played the game say the game looks a bit less polished than recent Nintendo titles, I still can’t wait to get my hands on it. The gameplay in Star Fox was always fun and challenging and I can’t wait to fly with my animal pilots friends once again. Come on Nintendo, make it go hard!
Trailer Star Fox Zero:
The game is focused around gameplay in the Star Wings even thought in some parts of the game you will be able to leave the ship and/or go on exploring with the Landmaster and other Star Fox vehicles.
Release date: Q4 2015
5: Uncharted 4
Nathan Drake is back and ready to make its first appearance on the Playstation 4. I’ve played and loved all previous Uncharted games so I can’t wait to go on adventure with Drake and Sully once again. They say that this will be the last chapter with Nathan Drake it, but I’m sure the Uncharted IP will live on. Even if it is with or without Nathan Drake.
Trailer Uncharted 4:
Naughty Dog is once again pushing the boundaries of the console it’s programming for. If you like to see how, check out the Uncharted Developer Diaries video’s: Developer Tools, Water Puddles and Foliage Tech.
Release date: 2016
4: Mass Effect Andromeda
Finally a new Mass Effect! I do have to confess, I haven’t completed Mass Effect 3 since I heard some many stories about the ending, but I promised myself to complete the game this summer. Even though we didn’t saw any gameplay, but just a teaser for the new game, it got me hyped all over again.
Let’s just hope that the developers learned from their mistakes and take the time to fully complete the game to deliver the full package.

Release date: 2016
3: Star Wars: Battlefront
Yes! Star Wars: Battlefront is in my top three games of the E3 2015. I know that (in our gamers eyes) many options were deleted out of the game, like space battles. But looking at the gameplay that was showned at the E3, Dice really knows what they are doing. The battles look dynamic and addictive as can be. You see soldiers fighting everywhere and planes flying over, this all just looks like a scene that is directly taken from one of the movies.
Trailer Star Wars: Battlefront
Dice has also explained why the AT-AT walkers are on-rails. Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir, senior producer of Battlefront claimed (free quote): “The AT-AT is an objective that must go to the rebel base to win. If this one is controlled by a teammate, he/she can walk away from the base and work against his/her own team. That would be gamebreaking.” And you know what. I agree with him. Besides, controlling the AT-AT in previous games was a pain and never got you anywhere. You can still enter the AT-AT and controls his canons and create some serieus damage. All other vehicles will be playable and fully controllable.
Release date: 17 November 2015
2: Final Fantasy 7 (FF7)
A remake of on of the best RPG’s in the history in gaming? You already got me there.
Trailer Final Fantasy VII remake:
The game will be fully rebuild from scratch and even though any more details are not yet released, the game will be epic. I’m sure of that.
Release date: 2016/2017
1: Horizon Zero Dawn
The new IP of Guerrilla Games blowed me away. It was also the biggest surprise of the E3 for me, since I never saw this coming. The story sounds refreshing an after watching the trailer I just needed to know more. The game looks beautiful and hunting those robot dinosaurs looks like a real blast.
Trailer Horizon Zero Dawn:
The gameplay with the bow and the mix with futuristic technology and a story that will go way deeper makes the wait for this game a long one.
Release date: 2016/2017
Games that missed my top 10 games from E3 2015 list
That were some games that barely missed the list, but do deserve to be mentioned. Games like Kingdom Hearts 3, Fall Out 4, Shenmue 3 and Dishonored look great and are pretty epic, but I haven’t yet played their predecessors. Shame on me… I know. Then there is Rise of the Tomb Raider even though I really enjoyed the first game, I can’t really crop the fact that the game is a (limited) exclusive for Xbox and that Playstation players are still left in the dark. Then there also Zelda: Triforce Heroes and Super Mario: Paper Jam and I was like “Okay” but also nothing more than that.
My top 10 games from E3 2015 and you?
What are your thoughts on the games that I mentioned or do you got any other games standing on your personal list? Let me know!
